Sono indignato!La giornata della libertà, istituita per il 9 novembre in ricordo della caduta del muro di Berlino di diciassette anni fa, non è stata celebrata. Non lo hanno fatto le istituzioni: governo, regione, provincia e comune; non lo hanno fatto le scuole, e non mi risulta neanche un messaggio, sempre pronto per ogni altra circostanza, del Presidente della Repubblica. Eppure la ricorrenza è stata sancita da una legge della Repubblica, la n. 61 del 15 aprile 2005, e sarebbe fatto obbligo a chiunque di rispettarla. “La Repubblica italiana dichiara il 9 novembre “Giorno della libertà” – dice testualmente la legge nel suo unico articolo, - quale ricorrenza dell’abbattimento del muro di Berlino, evento simbolo per la liberazione di paesi oppressi e auspicio di democrazia per le popolazioni tuttora soggette al totalitarismo. In occasione del “Giorno della libertà”, di cui al comma 1 – aggiunge con chiarezza, - vengono annualmente organizzati cerimonie commemorative ufficiali e momenti di approfondimento nelle scuole che illustrino il valore della democrazia e della libertà evidenziando obiettivamente gli effetti nefasti dei totalitarismi passati e presenti”.E’ l’ennesima dimostrazione, se mai ce ne fosse bisogno, che la sinistra italiana, che oggi occupa tutte institutions for decades and already has taken control of schools has not changed: whatever (celebrations, anniversaries, books, history, movies, etc..) refer to communist crimes should be opposed or at least ignored.
