Many will certainly have read "The Art of Loving" by Erich Fromm , a classic that revolves around the dilemma of loving (if ever there was a need to explain what it means to love ... and not surprisingly, the author divides the work in TEORIA e PRATICA).
"E' l'amore un'arte..oppure una piacevole sensazione...qualcosa in cui imbattersi è questione di fortuna?". Qui si contempla la prima ipotesi.
Si avverte un grande bisogno di Amore eppure nessuno crede che ci sia qualcosa da imparare in materia d'amore...atteggiamento che si basa su diverse premesse:
- La maggior parte della gente ritiene che amore significhi "essere amati", anziché amare...
- Si suppone che il problema dell'amore sia il problema di un oggetto, non di una facoltà...
- Spesso si confonde l'esperienza iniziale d'innamorarsi e lo stato permanente di essere innamorati...
